The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists held their Annual 2013 International Conference at the Hyatt Regency, in downtown Greenville, South Carolina April 9th through the 11th. This conference attracted many industry leaders to the area and offered a great chance to exchange new technologies and ideas. NICCA USA’s Dr. Magali Belmas was a presenter for the Chemical Applications portion of the conference. Dr. Belmas introduced 2 NICCA products NF 815 and DA 12. NF 815 is a high performing, long lasting aldehyde scavenger. This product is very robust and can be applied using the spray, pad or foam coating methods. This product has seen success in fields such as Textiles, Nonwovens and Urethane Foams. Dr. Belmas also introduced DA 12. DA 12 is a versatile product effective against ammonia, acetic acid and hydrogen sulfite odors. DA 12 is very popular in the apparel markets.
